Visions

We are all here during this crazy time as part of our Soul's journey of healing, empowerment and liberation. Rediscovering our true Nature.

Growing up in the enigmatic Balkans, I felt the call of the Great Mystery, and started poking my nose in the paranormal, very early on. The infamous Baba Yaga witch chased me in my dreams until I accepted her and let her devoured me in my dream. Only later did I realise it was my first initiation.

At thirteen, I discovered the teaching about the Bardo in the Tibetan Book of the Dead. I started practicing the awareness that your experience in dreams and visions is as real as that in the consensual reality we all inhabit. This lead me to experiment with dream states and visionary states, anything I could try – sober or not.

Gradually I understood that, while visions can be mind shattering and indelible, what really matters is integrating our suprasensual experiences into everyday. Therein lies the art of living a spiritual life, without any righteousness or superiority complex, but with the grace of rooted wisdom.

It's a tricky path at the best of times. I am thankful to have been born under circumstances that allow me to dedicate resources to creative endeavours. I walk aware of my responsibility as a “lucky card” holder towards people less fortunate. And with the knowledge that fortunes always change.

Artmaking helps me transfuse my inner experiences into daily life, and gives me the opportunity to share them with the world for the benefit of all beings.

Art, spirituality and the evolution of human consciousness are closely entwined. Making art while the world burns is an act of resistance, prayer and change. Nurturing our creativity will bring our planetary family closer to the collective vision of the world we all want to live in.
