I can work very fast when needed, especially on commissions or planned shows.

When I have no deadline, I tend to paint slowly. I've got my hands in many pots. Solo mothering takes up most of my time and energy. Life happens.

I don't subscribe to the idea that artists should be churning new pieces all the time. Things ripen within me for years sometimes. I am not a factory, and I am free from compliance with algorithms. Going slow is my act of resistance to the system.
