Goddess

As a child, I was mesmerised by the goddesses worshipped by my Thracian ancestors, whose power still resonates through my native land. When I was about 9, my eye chanced on an image of goddess Kālī, and my heart instantly recognized Her. This set me on a lifelong journey of Tantra and Shaktism, or devotion to the Great Goddess as the Supreme Reality.

I love freedom. Dogma has no place in my world. I believe we are all the same essence, and hopefully we follow whatever path is appropriate for our dispositions in this lifetime. The Truth is One but it has infinite faces. A multitude that is awe-inspiring to behold. I call this Supreme Reality ”Goddess.”

I worship Her, through art and life. To me, whether Isis or Lilith, Durga or Cybele, Nature or Power, it is all a manifestation of Her. It's why I venerate the toothed Holy Cvnt as a symbol for the Source of all life, and the unavoidable Void awaiting us all at its end, symbolised by the teeth. My artistic calling is to transmit my visions of the Divine Feminine through any means accessible, as an act of humble service to You and to Her, and as a process of self identification with the divine principle.

I am particularly attracted to the fierce manifestations of the Goddess, which to me are the most motherly. Whether for protection, courage, or consolation, wild and powerful forms of the Divine Mother are medicine for our tumultuous age.

The Divine Feminine aspects channelled through my art are here to empower all beings to free ourselves from the shackles that bind us, and birth a peaceful, sustainable and just world for all.
